Dr. Bazigha K. Abdul Rasool

Biography

Dr. Bazigha is currently a Professor and Head of the Pharmaceutical Sciences Department at Dubai Pharmacy College for Girls, UAE. She earned her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from the University of Baghdad, Iraq. Dr. Bazigha has authored a book chapter and over 50 research articles published in prestigious, peer-reviewed international journals, and has presented her work at numerous international conferences. Additionally, she serves as a peer reviewer for several highly regarded journals. With over 20 years of teaching experience at both graduate and postgraduate levels, she supervised many graduate students through their master's. In recognition of her contributions to the field, she was honored with the "Professor of the Year in Pharmaceutics" award by the Venus International Foundation in 2023. She has also been recognized as one of the Top 2000 Scientists in the UAE by the AD Scientific Index. Furthermore, Dr. Bazigha is an active member of editorial boards and regularly reviews several international pharmaceutical journals. She has been invited as a keynote speaker, chairperson, organizer, and scientific evaluator to prominent international conferences in pharmacy.
