Dubai Pharmacy College students explore forensic toxicology at Dubai Police
On February 29, 2024 Dubai Pharmacy College for Girls organized a visit to the Dubai Police, Department of Forensic Sciences and Criminology. The visit offered a valuable opportunity for our students to explore and learn first-hand about clinical toxicology, and forensic sciences.
During this visit, our students were introduced to various aspects of clinical and forensic toxicology including approaching a victim, handling samples/specimens and analyzing them using Dubai Police state of the art equipment.
The visit was an eye opener for our students as they explored a possible career in clinical or forensic toxicology, or as analysts in the field of forensic science.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dubai Police for their hospitality, organization and outstanding presentations.
We re looking forward to initiate a formal partnership with Dubai police that would include collaborative research serving the needs of the society in UAE.
