Dubai Pharmacy College Faculty Visit to the Pharmacy department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi
On December 20, 2024, A faculty delegation from Dubai Pharmacy College for (DPC), led by Prof. Sherief Khalifa, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Dean of the College of Pharmacy, visited the In-Patient Pharmacy Department and Sterile Compounding Section in Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
The team was privileged to engage in meaningful discussions with Dr. Saad Sultan (Executive Director of Pharmacy Services), Dr. Shaib Shuai (Manager of Inpatient Pharmacy Operations), Mohammad Siddiqui (Director of Hospital Pharmacy Services), and other pharmacists from the CCAD team. The discussion included a potential collaboration to establish a joint "Professional-Certified Program in Sterile Compounding" to advance educational and professional opportunities. Also, finding new strategies to improve students' learning experience by bridging academic knowledge with hands-on field practices and using real-world applications in the curriculum to ensure their success as future pharmacists.
