The College of Pharmacy at Dubai Medical University, in collaboration with the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) proudly co-organized the 8th Regional Pharmacy Faculty Development Workshop on January 10-11, 2025.
The workshop brought together pharmacy education leaders from 24 colleges across the region, representing countries such as Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Libya, Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, and all pharmacy colleges in the UAE.
The event welcomed approximately 12 deans of pharmacy colleges and esteemed faculty members, creating a vibrant platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and enhancing best practices in pharmacy education.
Key topics addressed during the workshop included:
- Best Practices in Experiential Education and Preceptor Development.
- Competency-Based Assessment, Grading and Skills Assessment.
-Artificial Intelligence in Pharmacy Education and Use by Academic Staff.
This two-day event provided an exceptional opportunity to strengthen collaboration among pharmacy colleges across the region, fostering innovation and excellence in teaching and learning.
