Dubai Medical University have been awarded the Gold Award at the International Creative Innovation Idea Competition (ICIIC) 2025

We are thrilled to announce that fourth-year B.Pharm students Rahma Nasir, Maryam Elnazier, Naiba Khusrau, Jannat Akram, and Haneen Badreldin from Dubai Medical University have been awarded the Gold Award at the International Creative Innovation Idea Competition (ICIIC) 2025!

Their innovative project, titled “Enhancing Healthcare Outcomes through an Advanced Pill Reminder App: A Novel Approach to Improving Medication Adherence and Compliance,” has garnered international recognition under the expert guidance of Prof. Aliasgar Shahiwala.

This groundbreaking app addresses a crucial challenge in medication adherence. By offering timely reminders, medication tracking, and an intuitive user interface, the app empowers patients to take their medications as prescribed, ultimately improving health outcomes.
