Dubai Medical University - College of Pharmacy presents at the Fifth Women in Research Forum (QUWA)

We are delighted to share that two research projects from the College of Pharmacy at Dubai Medical University were shortlisted at the Fifth Women in Research Forum (QUWA) organized by the University of Sharjah, standing out among 900 poster submissions evaluated by 300 distinguished reviewers!
Dr. Hanan Anbar and Dr. Yosra Lozon presented their research project alongside their undergraduate students,Rahma Nasir, Maryam Al Nazir, Rim Jabr, and Tasneem Zarzour from the College of Pharmacy, as well as Sana Ahmed and Rokia Malahifci from the College of Medicine. Their project was the result of a collaborative effort between Dubai Medical University, working with colleagues from the University of Sharjah, Gulf Medical University, and the University of Oxford.

Additionally, Dr. Semira Beshir presented her research project in collaboration with colleagues from the Fatima College in Abu Dhabi.

The Women in Research Forum, hosted by the University of Sharjah, is a distinguished platform dedicated to recognizing and advancing the achievements of women researchers across diverse fields and highlight the importance of the interdisciplinary work, and international research collaborations in advancing knowledge and inspiring the next generation of scientists.
