Dubai Medical University, College of Pharmacy Welcomes Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi for the Inauguration of the Sterile Compounding Lab

On February 12, 2025, DMU, College of Pharmacy had the pleasure of hosting Dr. Saad Sultan, Executive Director of Pharmacy Services, Dr. Mohammad Siddiqi, Director of Inpatient Pharmacy Services, and Dr. Omar Al Soukhni, Pharmacy Manager of Inpatient Pharmacy Services, from Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, for the inauguration of the Sterile Compounding Lab.

Our students were excited to engage with our guests, showcase their lab skills, and discuss sterile product preparation. The event was a remarkable opportunity for learning, collaboration, and professional growth.
Reflecting on the visit, Dr. Saad Sultan shared:

"It was a great pleasure to visit DMU College of Pharmacy. On behalf of Dr. Mohammad Siddiqui, Dr. Omar Alsukhni, and myself, we are grateful for the opportunity to visit and interact with students, and witness their enthusiasm for learning. We were truly impressed by the dedication of both faculty and students. The College of Pharmacy is doing an outstanding job in preparing future pharmacists with state-of-the-art simulation labs, cutting-edge compounding training facilities, and advanced technology for quality assurance and real-time feedback. It is remarkable to see the level of investment being made to cultivate a future pharmacy workforce with a strong patient-centric mindset."
