Pharmacy Around the Globe – One Profession, Countless Practices
Dubai Medical University’s College of Pharmacy came alive with enthusiasm on February 12, 2025, as students and faculty gathered for “Pharmacy Around the Globe”, an interactive event showcasing global pharmacy practices. Organized in collaboration with DPCSU-IPSF, DPC-IVPN, and the Community Engagement Team, the event provided an enriching platform to explore advancements in pharmacy across diverse regions of the world.
The event featured six interactive stations, each representing one of the World Health Organization (WHO) regions: Africa, the Americas, South-East Asia, Europe, the Eastern Mediterranean, and the Western Pacific. Attendees engaged in dynamic discussions and activities, gaining insights into innovative pharmacy practices, healthcare advancements, and region-specific pharmaceutical regulations.
This initiative not only celebrated the diverse scope of pharmacy worldwide but also reinforced the shared vision of pharmacists in delivering quality healthcare across borders.
