Dubai Medical University, College of Pharmacy Professor External Examiner for Master’s Thesis at the University of Sharjah
On February 25th, 2025, Dr. Hanan Anbar, Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, served as an external examiner for a Master’s thesis defense at the University of Sharjah’s College of Pharmacy.
The candidate, Ms. Mai Magdy Hassanein, presented her research entitled, “Metabolomics Insights into Doxorubicin and 5-Fluorouracil Combination Therapy in Triple-Negative Breast Cancer: A Xenograft Model Study.” This study explored the potential synergistic effects of these chemotherapeutic agents and offers promising insights into personalized breast cancer treatment. Congratulations to Ms. Mai and her supervisor, Prof. Mohamed Harb.
