Dubai Medical University and Saudi German Hospital UAE: Strengthening Clinical Education through Strategic Collaboration

In our continuous pursuit of excellence and innovation in healthcare education, Prof. Sherief Khalifa, Dean of the College of Pharmacy and Vice Chancellor of Dubai Medical University (DMU), along with Prof. Mirza Baig , Associate Dean – Clinical Affairs, met with the medical education team at the Saudi German Hospital (SGH) Group, UAE, on April 15, 2025.

The meeting was held with Dr. Omar Sabri, Director of Medical Education and Dr. Mohammed Tareq Orfali, Clinical Training and Research Coordinator, Saudi German Hospital. The discussions focused on strengthening mutual collaboration between the two institutions through impactful educational and clinical training initiatives.

Together, both institutions envision building a dynamic ecosystem where healthcare professionals can be trained, mentored, and empowered across various disciplines. One of the highlights of the dialogue was exploring the launch of joint certified micro credential courses.
Prof. Mirza expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Saudi German Hospital Training Team for their unwavering support in providing high-quality clinical training to DMU’s postgraduate and undergraduate students. A special note of thanks was extended to Mr. Assem Mohamed Ali Elsayad, SGH UAE Group Academic Affairs Manager, for his consistent dedication and efforts in facilitating this growing academic alliance.
